Since the 1990´s, the conformity assessment activity has been strongly considered as one of the main tools to avoid technical barriers to trade and, consequently, to promote market access. It is also important to fortify the national industry and the internal market, promoting health and safety consumers’ protection as well as the environment.
In Brazil, the demand for conformity assessment programs development increases not only in numbers but also in complexity. The technical requirements focus used to be the intrinsic quality of the products, however, today it has also been incorporated sustainability issues related to the productive process.
In this way, aiming at the knowledge harmonization on conformity assessment theme, as well as in what concerns the worldwide trends related, the Inmetro invites you to participate in the IV International Workshop on Conformity Assessment.
