The main objective of Technological Information is to meet the needs and expectations of the clients and to contribute to the technological knowledge of Metrology and Quality, taking into consideration the development and competitiveness of the country.

The aforementioned area is responsible for the technical regulation of Metrology and Conformity Assessment, through the Data Base of Technical Regulation. It also makes available several publications of metrological and quality content, be it through electronic means or even printed publications (through year-long subscription, single sales or free distribution).

The Technological Information is organized in services, and by a specialized library that handles the processing and broadcasting of the information. It disposes of a collection on Metrology, Standardization and Quality, in both internal and external levels, with several documents at the disposal of the general public.
