The General Coordination for Accreditation (Cgcre/Inmetro) of Inmetro recognizes technical competence of calibration and testing laboratories in order to assure metrological reliability, in environmental, health and safety areas viewing the brazilian citizen.
The implementation of accreditation programs, related to the production of certified reference materials and proficiency testing providers, will facilitate the accredited calibration and testing brazilian laboratories to achieve metrological traceablity, reducing loss of foreign exchange and assuring the internal and external markets.
