With the purpose of increasing the development of metrology and eletric instrumentation, mostly in Brazil and Latin America, gathering people and entities to produce knowledge and scientific culture, fomenting the exchange of specialists and researchers from Brazil and the exterior, the Federal University of Campina Grande, the The National Institute of Metrology, Normalization and Industrial Quality and the Brazilian Society of Metrology has the grateful satisfaction to announce the 8th International Seminar on Electrical Metrology - VIII Semetro - that takes place in the city of João Pessoa, Paraíba, from 17 to 19 of June of 2009.
Counting on the interest and enthusiasm of the technician-scientific community, the Organizing Institutions invite people and organizations to participate of the VIII Semetro, reiterating the commitment to organize an event according to highest international standards, suggesting that you include this event in your agenda, to prevent the duplication of commitments.
VIII Semetro intends to be the stage of discussions of subjects related to metrology and instrumentation, assuring tools for the development of science and measurements technology, in the context of the so called society of knowledge
