Overcoming Barriers

Inmetro has recently released a manual called "Technical Barriers to Trade - what are they and what to do to overcome them". It is quite a tool to help exporters to overcome technical barriers.

The result of a three-way partnership with the National Industrial Confederation (CNI) and the National Services of Industrial Apprenticeship (Senai), supported by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, the manual offers exporters a broad view of what technical barriers are all about, explaining what is Inmetro´s role as a Focal Point for technical barriers to trade, listing all the international agreements currently valid, plus the available tools for those who wish to overcome the obstacles faced on their exportations.
