Quality Policy
I- To provide
accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories, certification
bodies, inspection bodies, training bodies, performance verification
bodies and other bodies necessary to development of the infrastructure
of technological services of the nation, complying with the principles
of quality management established by Inmetro and complying with
the international guidelines and requirements, as established in
the documents ABNT ISO/IEC GUIDE 61 e ABNT ISO/IEC GUIDE 58.

II-
To base its performance on the principles established in its Quality
Manual, so as to achieve the objectives established, within standards
that ensure the reliability, credibility and transparency of its
services.
III- To come up to the expectations
of its clients, ensuring the establishment, implementation and maintenance
of the Management System.
IV- To disclose the information
related to the accreditation activities performed, whilst keeping
the proper confidentiality.
V- To interact with similar
regional and international bodies, seeking for technical cooperation,
interchange of experiences and the mutual recognition of the accreditation
activities.
VI- To promote the value of
the personnel engaged in the activities of accreditation, encouraging
its qualification and continuous improvement.
